Super for 58 euros, but mainly because everywhere else is so expensive! The main thing is that you sleep well , which I did. i very much appreciated that. And I quite enjoyed the area, there were a couple of OK restaruants next door, tho walking 20 mins at a brisk pace seems the best way to get up to Atocha and into the centre, considering public transport options. Aircon great. It's just a tiny bit TOO minimalist. THe windows don't open more than 10cm (if you jam something in them!) and the sun terrace door on the roof was locked. The lighting was awful - no way of getting a nice relaxing light in the room. It was all just a tiny bit on the claustrophobic side, including the corridors where I couldn't find stairs. THe staff forgot to tell me how to use the lift with the room key card so I got stuck in the lift. No proper apology. I felt the reception people had better things to do than welcome guests. But as I say, OK for 58 euros. Certainly don't pay 90 or something.

This was my first experience of an easyHotel, and I found the decor and furnishings Spartan, but the room had pretty much everything I required so it . The room I was allocated was great, on the top floor, with my own private little balcony that I ate dinner on at 2am, and a few seconds away from the solarium/terrace which was a surprise amenity (and got so hot - even in October!) The location was very good, and was largely why I chose this hotel (on the advice of the person I came to visit). It was easy to reach other places from there, either by walking or by taxi (or similar.) I could open my door to hear the sounds of the city, whenever I wanted to, or keep it closed to hear nothing of the outside world - the soundproofing was pretty good. The staff were lovely too.

They had check in options for very early (before 8:00) check in for an additional fee. I am very happy with the price for the early check in, and I could sleep after coming from my bus trip (which I guess is most of the travelers that come here). One thing that was said in other reviews is about the neighborhood, I walked around for two days and found a very nice neighborhood with helpful people. There is a burger shop and two poke shops really close by. Also close to the bus and metro stations. All in all my stay was great. After I left they stored my luggage for a few hours as well, since my flight was later in the afternoon.

The hotel was on a quiet street a 6 minute taxi journey from Madrid Atocha railway station. The room had super efficient and very quiet air-con, which was very much appreciated in the 38c heat of Madrid. The bed was very comfortable with nice bed linen, there were nice thick towels in the shower room and it was all spotlessly clean and quiet. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. There were dispensing machines in the lobby where you could buy toiletries, drinks and sandwiches/ snacks, and there was a microwave for general use.

Stayed at the easyHotel Madrid 3 separate times. This is a no-frills hotel that does the basics very well. Big, comfortable bed, strong shower pressure, excellent night’s sleep. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Early check in if a room is available for 10 euros or luggage storage in a locker for price varying on the size of locker. Vending machines for food and drink near reception. Sitting area near reception with lots of chargers. Easy access to Atocha station and nearby bus station.
